To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and experienced Business Analyst (m/f/d) in the food sector from April 1, 2025.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- In this varied position, you will be responsible for the overall finances of the Smart Food for Future Group
- Financial management of the Swiss management company and its subsidiaries
- Preparation of the budget, management of accounting and preparation of the annual financial statements through to tax and controlling agendas
- Development and analysis of relevant key figures for the operating units at holding company level in the FMCG / functional food sector
- Creation and interpretation of reports for corporate management and direct communication of the results to the management
- Action-oriented controlling: Derivation of targeted measures to improve performance
- Use of modern analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and integration of data from various merchandise management systems to generate meaningful insights
- With your commitment, you will make a significant contribution to the sustainable success of SFFF and, together with the entire team, support and shape its further development into the European market leader for functional nutrition
Your profile
- Degree in economics (specializing in business administration, finance or similar) or a comparable qualification
- You have relevant experience in an operational finance or consulting position (> 4 years)
- Sound knowledge of all key areas of a modern retail company (offline and online) and the processes critical to success
- Use of modern analysis tools and merchandise management systems
- You are able to grasp complex relationships quickly
- You are well organized and can develop and set up processes and systems
- You like to work on your own initiative, well structured and at the same time as a team player
- Relevant experience in M&A/transactions and/or are an advantage
- We require fluency in German and English as well as the use of MS Office applications
- Knowledge of accounting and ERP systems is an advantage but not a requirement
